Blackjack Variations - Vegas Strip Blackjack

There are a few different things about Las Vegas Strip Blackjack that separates it from regular Blackjack like having 4 decks instead of 1. Another one of the differences is that if you are dealt two Aces and decide to split them, if you get a 10 or face card as the second card it does not count as a Blackjack. A Las Vegas Strip Blackjack must be made with the first 2 original cards that are dealt to you. Another difference also referring to being dealt 2 Aces, if you are to receive another Ace as the second card for one of your 2 split hands, you cannot re split it. Not only can you split Aces in Vegas Strip Blackjack, but also any face card and 10 card combination. It can be any 2 face cards, 2 tens or one of each. Unlike some Blackjack variations you are allowed to double down when playing Vegas Strip Blackjack. You can only double down on your first two cards or if you have split Aces you can double down before your second card is dealt to you. Insurance is also allowed in Vegas Strip Blackjack before playing your hand if the dealer is showing an Ace, however, if you end up splitting your hand you will forfeit your insurance bet.

Blackjack Variations - Atlantic City Blackjack

Atlantic City Blackjack is a variation of Blackjack that does more than add a couple extra rules or bonuses in, they add 7 extra decks of cards. In Atlantic City Blackjack the dealer will use a card shoe with 8 decks of standard playing cards in it. Also, like it's sister variation, Vegas Strip Blackjack, you are also allowed to split 10s, face cards and Aces and Aces can only be split once. Again, like Vegas Strip Blackjack, if you split your pair of Aces and one of the second cards gives you 21, this is not considered a Blackjack. The only other difference is that you can also double down on any two cards including if you split your cards. In this instance you would make your double down bet before the dealer gave your recently split 2 hands each their second card.

Blackjack Variations - Bonus Blackjack

Bonus Blackjack is becoming very popular online, and for good reason! It is played just like regular Blackjack with any 2 cards equalling 21 being a Blackjack, but the bonuses are what makes Bonus Blackjack one the top games of 2009! There are 3 bonuses that received when playing Bonus Blackjack. Getting any two cards of the same suit, you will get a 5 to 2 bonus! If you get any suited Blackjack (Ace and face card or 10 suited) your will win a 25 to 1 bonus and if you are lucky enough to get the Ace and Jack of hearts, that bonus will pay you 50 to 1!

Blackjack Variations - Vegas Single Deck

Vegas Single Deck Blackjack is played very similarly to regular blackjack except that unlike most blackjack games, Vegas Single Deck Blackjack can often be found in both 6:5 and 3:2 payouts, however, simple math will tell you that the house is gaining an advantage on the player with the 6:5 games because 3:2 + 3:2 would be 6:4 not 6:5. As with most of the Blackjack variations, Vegas Single Deck Blackjack is considered a hole game, meaning that the dealer receives one card up and one card down. This rule is repeated in all of the other Blackjack variations explained here. Also like the other variations, the player is allowed to double down on any two cards including split cards. You can not only split Aces but also any face card and 10 card combination, whether it be 2 face cards, 2 tens or one of each. One last difference in Vegas Single Deck is that dealer's must hit on a soft 17. A soft 17 is making 17 by using an Ace as an 11, most Blackjack variations allow a dealer to stand on a soft 17.

Blackjack Variations - Double Attack Blackjack

Double Attack Blackjack is a very popular Blackjack variation in Atlantic City. There are many things that stand out and let you know that this is not your average Blackjack or any other Blackjack variation. First, the game is usually played with 6 or 8 decks. Second, like another popular Blackjack variation, Spanish 21, there are only 48 cards in each deck as the 10 of each suit has been removed. The other 2 things that make Double Attack Blackjack unique are the bonus bets available to be made. One of the 2 bonus bets is whether you think the dealer will bust on their 3rd card(1st hit). This is not always available, only if the dealer has a 6, 7, 8, 9 or face card showing. Depending on what the card showing is, the payout could be from 3:1 up to 15:1! The other bonus bet is if the dealer has an 8 in their first 2 cards and hits and the third card is another 8 or a card the same suit as the original 8, you could win either 50:1 or 200:1! Other than those exciting differences Double Attack Blackjack is played like most other Blackjack variations.

Blackjack Variations - Double Exposure Blackjack

Double Exposure Blackjack is played almost exactly like regular single deck Blackjack. There is only one difference, instead of the dealer getting 1 hole(face down) card and one face up card, the dealer will deal both their cards face up just like every other player's at the table. This is a big advantage to you since you are playing against the dealer. If the dealer has a high hand above 17, you know you need to hit until you beat him or you are going to lose anyway.

Blackjack Variations - Triple 7's Blackjack

In Triple 7's Blackjack, it is played very similarly to Vegas Strip Blackjack except it has some very nice bonuses for finding 7s in your hand! If you find one 7 in your hand, you will receive a 5:1 bonus payout. If you find an unsuited pair of 7's in your hand you will receive a 25:1 bonus payout. If you are lucky enough to find a suited pair of 7s in your hand you will receive a whopping 50:1 payout. Triple 7's pay the most but vary from casino to casino. The biggest bonus payout possible in Triple 7's Blackjack is only available if you get 3 suited 7s in your hand! Suited trip 7s is the highest hand you can get and is what will win you the progressive jackpot. The progressive jackpot is something players pay each hand that builds up until someone wins it.

Blackjack Variations - Big 5 Blackjack

Most of the rule variations in Big 5 Blackjack are the same as the above mentioned variations. You can double down on any two cards even if they're split, you can split Aces and any pairs including 2 cards worth 10 even if they are not pairs. Another rule variation that is similar to the others is that split Aces that get a 10 as their second card are not considered blackjack. The things that make Big 5 stand alone are the fact that there are 5 full decks of cards used (hence the name big 5) and that this is not a hole game meaning that the dealer does not get to hide one of their cards, both of their cards are exposed. The one other thing that separates Big 5 Blackjack for regular Blackjack or the other variations is that it offers an early surrender where you can take back half of your bet as long as the dealer does not have an Ace.

Blackjack Variations - Spanish 21 Blackjack

Spanish 21 is like Blackjack in the fact that you are playing against the dealer and the object is to get 21. Other than that, all the other regular blackjack rules pretty much flew out the window! In Spanish 21 you can not only double down on any 2 cards, but you can double down on 3 cards, or even 4 cards! You can double down at any time, even if you have split your first two cards! Another added benefit is that the dealer has to hit on a soft 17, this means if the dealer is dealt an Ace and a 6, although that would equal 17 if you used the Ace as an 11, that is a soft 17, so the dealer will be forced to hit and get another card. Another really great addition is the bonuses available for hitting one of the Spanish 21 bonus hands. The bonus hands are; making 21 with 5 cards, getting 6, 7, 8 or getting 7, 7, 7! Also as mentioned above in Double Attack Blackjack, there are no 10s in the deck. Lastly, you will be allowed one surrender where you can decide that the dealer will beat you and you surrender half of your wager.
